mono-complete software package provides complete Mono runtime, development tools and all libraries, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mono-complete
mono-complete is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mono-complete package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mono-complete *
You will get with mono-complete package name, version, architecture and description in a table
